Hearth ships with the Ember model family — chat, vision, speech-to-text and text-to-speech — all tuned for local hardware. The Hearth Mini handles models up to 9 billion parameters, the Hearth up to 34 B, and the Pro up to 70 B. New models arrive free every month.
Nothing. Hearth keeps working completely offline — conversations, image generation, voice control and your smart-home automations all run locally. The network is only used to download model updates, and even that can be done from a USB stick.
