Runs fully on-device
Language, speech and vision models execute on Hearth's 60-TOPS neural engine. Unplug the internet and everything still works.
Introducing Hearth
Hearth is a quiet little box that runs powerful AI models right in your living room. Ask it anything, dictate, transcribe, search your files — while every byte stays inside your walls.
Why Hearth
One box serves every screen in the house — phones, laptops, TVs and speakers — with models that run on its own silicon. No subscriptions, no data trail.
Language, speech and vision models execute on Hearth's 60-TOPS neural engine. Unplug the internet and everything still works.
Fanless, sealed aluminium shell. At 11 dB(A) you will hear the page turn, not the computer.
Phones, laptops and TVs on your network share one Hearth. Private by profile, so everyone's context stays their own.
No accounts, no analytics, no outbound calls. The network tab stays empty — and there's a physical kill switch to prove it.
Point Hearth at folders, notes or recipes and it builds a private index on disk. Answers come with sources you can open.
An OpenAI-compatible local API, Matter and Thread support, and apps for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows.

FAQ
Correct. Models, updates and voice recognition all run on the box. It ships with zero outbound destinations, and the OS refuses to phone home by design. If you want to be certain, flip the physical kill switch on the back — the device keeps working with the network fully cut.
Hearth runs open models up to 30 B parameters — comparable to mainstream cloud assistants for everyday questions, writing, summarising and home control. For frontier-level reasoning you can optionally route a request to a cloud provider, but that is off by default and always labelled.
About four minutes. Plug in power, scan the pairing code with your phone, and Hearth joins your Wi-Fi. There is no account to create — your phone talks to the box directly on your network.
No. New open models and software updates are included for the life of the device and install locally. The only optional extra is Hearth Vault, a $49 one-time purchase for encrypted, versioned backups to your own hard drive.
Every Hearth carries a 3-year warranty and a 30-day return window. All data lives on the device in plain, exportable formats — one tap copies everything to a drive, then the factory wipe leaves nothing behind.
