Introducing Hearth
Hearth is a small, quiet box that runs AI models entirely on your network. No cloud, no accounts, nothing uploaded. Just answers, voice and automation — powered by your own electricity.

Why Hearth
Everything Hearth does happens in the box. That single fact changes what an assistant can be: private, instant, and yours.
Every request is answered by the chip in the box, not a data center. There is nothing to leak, because nothing leaves.
Sub-200 ms voice responses with no round trip to the cloud. Ask, and it answers before you finish the sentence.
Turn the internet off and Hearth keeps working. Outages, flights, or a cabin with no signal — it doesn't notice.
38 dB at full load — quieter than a library. A warm glow, not a fan. You'll forget it's on.
Download new models over your LAN whenever they ship. Your box gets smarter without ever leaving the shelf.
One box, every room. Voice in the kitchen, vision at the door, a daily summary in your inbox — all local.
“The first smart speaker that respects you. It listens, it answers, and it never phones home.”

FAQ
Completely. Hearth has no cloud dependency at all — the model, your voice, and your data never leave the box. You can unplug the router and everything keeps working. The internet is only used if you choose to download a newer model, and only when you ask it to.
Ask questions out loud or in the app, get a daily morning summary, search photos on your devices without sending them anywhere, translate conversations, draft and answer text from your own notes, and run automations like "when the door opens at night, tell me who's at the door and dim the hallway." If a model can run on 32 GB, Hearth can run it.
Smart speakers record your voice and send it to a data center, where a model answers and the reply is sent back. Hearth does the opposite: the model lives in the box, so the only thing that ever "speaks" is your home. No recordings, no accounts, no ads, no updates that quietly change what's collected — because nothing is collected.
Any open model that fits in memory: from a snappy 3B voice model up to 30B on Home and 70B on Studio. New releases appear in the app as one-tap downloads over your LAN, and you can always pin the version you like. No model is ever streamed from the cloud while you use it.
9 watts at idle and 55 watts at peak. That's less than a nightlight most of the day — roughly $4 a year at average US rates — and it's the reason the box stays silent: there's barely enough heat to need a fan, so there is no fan.
Every order includes a 30-day home trial with free return shipping. And because Hearth stores nothing you didn't put there, returning it means unplugging it — there's no account to delete and no data to wait for.
